What is it about evenings? The wind tends to drop and the birds sing a bit more enthusiastically, the bats start swooping round and the sheep settle down to some serious cud-chewing. I love walking round our place at the end of the day, and NZ looks so beautiful...
love Jane
PS amazing toadstools!
you have probably forgotten the time when grandad's extension was being built. the washing machine was in the hall cloakroom and the waste had to be put into the loo.The machine came on, with the timer, about 6am so we came downstairs to a couple of inches of sudsy water all through the hall. the carpet shrunk horribly-thank goodness for insurance!MUM
